I Think Im Ready For Season
« on: September 13, 2009, 04:54:00 PM »
Ive decided that since im seriously going to hunt with traditional equipment I wanted to build my own arrows. I researched and did the work and it paid off.  I started really fletching about a month ago and now I cant get enough of it. Anyhow I cut and flecthed these arrows and I think they came out pretty good. I plan to use the white ones for early season then when shotgun season starts go to the yellow ones for safety reasons. And if I miss it wont be as hard to find my arrow in the snow lol. It maybe a little over kill but I bought two dozen arrows this year instead of one. Guess since its my first year I need plenty of ammo   :knothead:

They shoot pretty good this is a group at 25 yards with my Kempf Recurve

Just wanted to show them off I hope theyll be red next month. Thanks for looking! Post of your hunting arrows for this year if you guys want I love seeing what people come up with.
