Met a "BeachBowhunter" last week!
« on: September 13, 2009, 10:06:00 PM »
Just got back to Weirsdale, the cultural center of the universe, a few minutes ago and wanted to give a shout out to my new friend in San Diego. Norbert took some time out of his busy labor day schedule to visit with me while I was out that way for a wedding.  I got to see some of his cool hunting trophies and check out his archery toys as well as get the general lay of the land.

Like all of the folks I have met through tradgang, Norbert is top shelf.  Even if he wasn't a bowhunter I would still like him based on his recommendation of culinary breakfast opportunities-Large amounts of great food at cheap prices!

Thanks Norbert for taking the time to visit.

Always amazed how two guys that really don't know each other can just get together and seem like old friends....just like you did for me a few years back bud

Thanks Gregg. So I take it that you enjoyed the surfer's special breakfast burrito at Pipes?  :goldtooth:

It was great to meet you and your family, thanks for looking us up on your trip. Let's go chase some hogs down the road!

I had the pleasure of meeting Norb down in Texas a few years back, and really enjoyed the time spent....even though he lives on the left coast, he's one cool dude     :)

Right on about Norb, I have shot with him a few times in the last couple years, and he is one cool dude, and if all goes well I'll get to hunt hogs in Texas next April with him. Good luck with the hip Norb.

Norbie is tops in my book too. We've shared a couple campfires and he's just all about having a good time...

And he's got that California "laid back" kind of attitude that says " It's all good, man" so you know you're going to have a good time.  :bigsmyl:

Had the pleasure of meeting Norb down at Ray's this spring. Norb, you're a great guy, can't wait to shake your hand again. Whatta ya say to another trip down to hog heaven next spring?
