crack
« on: April 02, 2007, 06:12:00 PM »
3rd target on a 3D shoot, I'm at full draw on an elk, concentrating hard and hear someone shooting a pistol!!!

Well, actually it was the upper limb of my black swan 3pc recurve snapping!!!!  Once my heart rate came down below 100, I called Mr. Danielson who's a great bowyer and provides great service.  He's going to make a new set of limbs and I'll be up and running again...

I've never heard of one of those breaking. Be interesting to hear what he finds out about the limb.

He said he'd only ever known about one other failure before and that was in a shooter with a much longer draw than mine.

He'll make good and the new limbs just might be a little faster than the ones you had.

I've no doubt about his service and skills.  The only part that bothers me is not getting to shoot that bow for a while!!!!
