Rubber hip boots for the creeks and swamps around here.  Legs don't get wet in tall grass and weeds.  Cabelas are the best I have found for the price, durability, and comfort.

So far this season, it's Bean's Main Hunting Shoe when it's wet (still trying to figure out if I like those or not) and blacked out Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars when it's dry.  Now *that* is a classic hunting shoe.

I did pick up a pair of Scent Free Lacrosse Burly boots last week. Very comfortable and love the knee high rubber pertection qualities. Keeps the bottoms of my wool pant legs dry and sticker free.
Problem:
Very high rubber odor to them and as stated above they are labeled scent free. (made in China). I let them set outside all week and they still have the high rubber scent. If I can smell them that easy you can imagine how easy deer will smell them. Sad to say I am takeing them back for a refund.
Any thoughts?
