Firehawk longbow?
« on: September 18, 2009, 04:41:00 PM »
Anyone have any experience with a Firehawk?

Pro's? Con's?

I'm having JD from Whisperstik build me a sweet osage Voodoo Stik right now, but I'm debating moving a bow or 2 off the rack and trying something a little more unusual.

For next year, I was kicking around an Owl bow, but then I remembered the review in TBH on the Firehawk. Pretty sweet looking bow.

I've been shooting one for a few months now and love it. Very quick compared to what I'm used to shooting (mild r/d longbows). Can't really come up with any Con's. Some people might not like the standard grip, but they also make it with a built out locator grip as well.

I have a 62" #45@28, coco and osage. I love this bow but it's just a little too light for me. Good to my 30" draw. I am going to list it for sale, just havn't got around to it yet. Super smooth and very fast for its weight. Mine has the straight grip, which I like.
