So i bought some new arrows. Im shooting a bow thats #54 @ 28". But im only drawin 27". So these new arrows are traditional only, .500s. I went to start bareshaft tuning them and they are shooting 4 inches to the left completely un cut(31 inches) which would indicate them being to stiff. What is the problem?

Right hand or left? What kind of bow with what string, center cut, point weight.........? I had a bow that was 55@29 and could shoot .500's at 30" with 200 gr. on the front. Center cut makes a big difference.

Long carbons can be weakened by using a heavier point. If you cut them shorter, it is harder to get enough weight on the point. You may also want to try increasing your brace height some. Do one at a time. Bill

Remember - it is not only just shaft spine. Every bow is different. The way the riser is cut, the tiller of the limbs, string and silencer material all play a part in arrow flight.
One 52 lb bow may need a .500 spine, a different 52 lb bow may need a .400 spine.

Sounds to me like you need to add some point weight

Could be showing a false stiff. I bought the test kit with all the spines and I had something similar happen to me. I've got a bow with the same specs but I pull at 29". I ended up going with the .400's which I'm still fine tuning and I'm using a total of 300gr up front.
