Morrison Carbon/Foam Limbs
« on: September 23, 2009, 08:50:00 AM »
I just wanted to share that I recently shot a set of 48# Cheyenne limbs that Bob made and they were fantastic!  They had carbon on the back in a cross-weave pattern that was really cool and stained bamboo on the belly.  At 48# the early string tension was excellent and they shot an arrow as hard as bows I've shot that were five pounds heavier.

If you're looking for limbs with a smooth draw and great performance I can highly recommend the Morrison carbon/foam limbs.  todd

Could not agree more Todd. I could not get over how much faster and quieter they were over the older bamboo core limbs I had. To the top for Mr. Morrison, he is one of the best out there !

I had a very nice set of Bob's Cheyenne Bamboo Recurve limbs and Bob talked me into ordering some carbon/foam core limbs. Best limbs I have ever owned I am glad I listened to Bob.

I am thinking of trying out a set of these. Now I have to figure out what I have and what I can sell.  This place is the most expensive free site on the web for me.

I have the short "A" recurve carbon/foam limbs makes a 54" bow with my "A" Cheyenne Riser. Very compact bow that shoots great. I draw around 27" bow is smooth to that draw no stacking. Sometimes I find myself wishing I was born with a 30" draw so I could gain all that extra performance that comes with a long draw. Then again every time a get to carry a 54" bow to the woods and shoot it care free with no stacking I think maybe a short draw isn't a bad thing.
