anyone ever send back a Double Bull?
« on: September 27, 2009, 03:48:00 PM »
I've got a Double Bull I bought from someone on a hunting trip that I've never used because I can't get the stupid thing to stay deployed. When you go to push the 4th wall out another one will collapse. And yes, I did screw with the strings but not until I was completely frustrated. Right now I have 2 options. Send it back to have them fix it (if possible), or waste a gallon of gasoline but feel much better in about 5 minutes.

Anyone ever send one back? How bad did they ding ya?

Good Luck with what ever road ya take on this one..... I can read the headlines now: "Hunter Eaten By Attack Blind".

A western NY hunter while erecting his ground blind on a hillside over looking the best deer habitat east of the Mississippi River was lost today when witnesses reported...

"I seen it rolling down the hill with somebody inside! When I ran over there, there was just a pair of boots in the thing!"

"It was a horrible thing to watch. Parts of the fella were all over the place. When it stopped at the bottom of the hill... He was gone!"

I can see the stage play and subsequent movie, "Little Pop-up Horrors".

Did you try rotating the hubs? I should ask is it collapsing because it's too tight or not tight enough?

Yes I did. They fixed the problem (a broken pole) and completely udated the the rest of the blind with all new componentry- AT NO CHARGE.

Can't say enough good things about my DB blind and the people at Primos/DB.

I have heard nothing but good things about the great customer service and fairness when sending back a DB to Primos. Give them a call and let us know ....

My brother left his out and an ice storm broke one of the poles. He contacted DB to buy a new pole since it was obviously his fault and they sent him two poles free.

Can't beat that for customer service.

I had a T-2 sent back for repair work. Nice people to deal with. Mine was ripping at the seams. Didn't charge me anything that I rememberbut then I haveforgoten plenty, including how to put the darn things up. Used to be simple but after my stroke it became an exercise in frustration. This past turkey seasonI got po'd trying to setupso I called a buddy and sold it to him on the spot.

My cousin has had trouble with his. He bought it at Cabela's and they did replace it, but I think he had to make a couple trips. His brother has an older one and has had ZERO problems with it. The older one was made in the USA. The new one was made overseas.

I sent back a T2 for a new zipper, all that it cost me was shipping. ($25) Great service!
