Gotta do everything right to nail a 'yote.
Surprised the heck out of him...he figured since you had a bow, he was safe. Sometimes they are too smart for their own good.
Hats off to ya'!!!

Jamie, I did'nt get to take any pictures of the Doe. I decided to wait awhile before trailing. Butch and Bruce came and helped with his dog. The hit was better than I thought, and the trail was easy to follow. Will take some pics of the next one.

You boys are having way too much fun down there. Mal, how's the collards looking this year? better keep an eye out. We had some problems with worms on ours, but sprayed em in time I think. Good luck to ya. DB

Don, Patsy and her family set up at the John Blue cotton festival this weekend . She said they stayed busy and had a line most of the day with Collards, cornbread, fatback, fried green tomatos, cake slices, and alot of other goodies. Yes we had a worm problem with ours too. I have a relative that has some nice collards so they got some from him for this festival. Hows the hunting been Don.

Mal,
I'm getting hungry reading about the John Blue cotton festival. Will your wife be cooking again at the SCBH shoot again in February? Good luck to you and the guys. My wife almost got a big doe with her new Jeep Friday night. I have not had any luck yet, but I did stick a running squirrel with my longbow yesterday.

Rick, we were talking about that last night. Plans are being made to be there for the febuary shoot. Talked to Butch last night about it too. SCBH has a meeting this weekend and that will be one of the topics of discussion.
