I tried the beard, but mine is snow white and if I try darkening it my wife gets suspicious, thinks maybe I'm out hunting more than deer.

I wore hard contact lens for quite a few years,w/o any problems but the Dr. recommended I switch to soft ones. I assume those are what you are trying Bear. When I went to the soft lens, I worked up to about 8 hours per day with them, but almost immediately they felt like there was sand grit or something in them. Steadily, the amount of time I could stand them dropped. When I reached two hours per day, I gave up on them.

I had eye surgery in 1995, and that was pretty good until I hit my fifties, now I need reading glasses - which I would have needed anyways. Also, in low light conditions, I need some light prescription. Nothing is perfect I guess, except youthful eyes.

Google up Parkers Perfect. Great stuff. I often wondered why the plastic facemasks that some football players use to protect their eyes never fogged up. The answer was Parkers Perfect.

Thanks, Gary. I only made it about an hour today. Hope to get it worked out, but I'll certainly be looking into Parkers either way.

I can't wear a beard or mustache when shooting. For some reason, every time I let go of the string it tears out a few hairs. It plays hell with concentration. Gary

What Tom said, I cut a hole in all my masks when I were one.

don't wear the face mask until you reach your stand and your body has cooled a little. You can also cut a hole for your nostril's and mouth.Try spitting on your glasses we do that when we snorkel it works.bass pro has a ghillie type mask that is not thick and I wear polypropylene mask under that when its cold. When its hot I also wear x-scent face mask it's light breathable and covers your scent.Good Luck!!

I heard somewhere that buffing plain toothpaste(not the gel stuff) into the lenses works great. I used it on my glasses before I got >contacts< and it worked pretty well. I still use it on my paintball masks.

I guess they didn't like my comment about being a "Mouth breather" truth is, I had a deviated septum and could only breath through one nostril and on a good day about 20% of the other.
I had it fixed and now breathe like I should and the issue of lens fogging has flat gone away..
I'll bet most of you that have fogging issues have some form of breathing obstruction forcing you to mouth breathe.(At least some of the time)
Most insurance companies cover the surgery and it's well worth the investment to anyone that has the issue.

Try this after your net shower take shaving cream (barbasol) and put it on the mirror and rub it in,then wipe it off with a paper towel keep the door closed and run the shower on hot.the glass will not fog up! then try this with your glasses in the bathroom.Good luck

Carbomask is really good stuff. Just google it. The guy that makes it is a good guy. His name is Bob Ray. He'll let you order by phone or email and just sends you a bill. Good stuff

This problem is the number one reason that I switched to contacts years ago.  I have rarely regretted the decision.

Put a little liquid dishwashing soap on your glasses.  Polish the lenses and you will be nicely suprised.  Very hard to fog up.
