Kudos to Great Plains Bow!
« on: October 07, 2009, 09:28:00 PM »
I bought one of Bill's Rio Bravo's 66" TD longbows back in March and loved how it felt and shot. But I was getting a lot of cuts from the fletching and was having a problem getting a repeatable grip. I asked if there was anything could be done about that and Bill said to send him the bow back and he would see what can be done.
I sent pictures of my grip on the bow and told him what I thought might be the problem. I settled myself in content to wait what I thought would be at least a few weeks to get my bow back.

Less than a week later I got it back!

I had Bill ship it to my workplace, and when I saw who it was from I opened it up to check it out. The grip now fit my hand beautifully, and I decided to come home for lunch and give it a try.

That's when I ran into my own personal Homer Simpson moment.

I left the limb bolts at work!

~DOH!~

So AFTER work I tried it out and Bill's craftsmanship showed through. No cuts on my hand now and every draw produced the same grip.

Thank you Bill for a great bow and fine support
If something seems too good to be true it’s best to shoot it, just in case. … Fiona on “Burn Notice”
