SBD STRINGS
« on: October 08, 2009, 11:07:00 PM »
Been shooting a SBD string for 5 days now, AWESOME!! I had ordered one knowing that I haven't seen much improvement with "skinny" strings in the past. I called Pierre and he assured me that I would get everything I wanted from an SBD string, he was more than helpful in describing just what makes these strings so good. Highest quality and wow, is my Zipper quiet! Minimal stretch, great serving, super fast service and Pierre is just "good people".
I have my second on the way and before long I will have all of my bows wearing SBD strings, thanks Pierre.

I ordered 3 from Pierre yesterday, so far (without actually having the string yet) I have been really impressed with the way SBD have dealt with everything and the response to emails and then sending the strings out was really fast. Looking forward to getting the strings and trying them out.

I looked under SBD but did not see anything. Are they listed under another name perhaps?

I forgot to mention that my zipper is noticably faster, even though I didn't think it needed it.

I put two SBD 8 strand strings on my two BW longbows over 6 months ago and they are still going strong.  They really improved every aspect of my shooting experience.  Quieter, even less hand shock and they do "feel" faster.  I just ordered three more today.  Very high quality strings!

Ordered mine on May 1st and am anxiously waiting for its arrival.  I just finished putting a string nock on the "stock" string of my new Samick using Dave's video.  Good practice for when the SBD comes in.  Of course, Dave's method is so easy, it doesn't take much practice.  Great stuff as always on TG.com!

SBD's are worth the wait folks. Pierre and John Pierre are hard working and run a two man show. They keep enough work for 10 employees. Every string you get from them will be consistent and perfect in all respects. Waiting's the easy part.....but the waits sure worth it.

Now hurry up with my strings Pierre! (LOL)  :biglaugh:

I have to agree, an SBD came with my TallTines and it is great. I am going to order another one very soon. The best string I have used so far.
