Lucked out on the bay!
« on: October 10, 2009, 05:26:00 AM »
Well for years I have been looking for a Eatmon, I think this is how you spell the fella's name, 66" recurve.  When I would find one it was either to light or out of my price range.  Well found the next best thing on the bay, a Damon Howatt Ventura in very shootable condition and in a good hunting weight, 60@28.  This is what the previous mentioned bowyer modeled his creation after.  Haven't rec. it yet but it should be here Mon or Tues I would think.  Some wear and tear on the bow but like I said the pics and the person that owned it said it is straight and shootable so I am a happy camper.

Next I have always wanted another doz. or so Muzzy glue on broadheads.  Found some in 145 and 125 grains so bought those too.  Don't have 200 bucks invested in all including shipping.  keepem sharp

PS  Muzzy's are nib too.

Have't rec. the items yet but I will post pics with the bh's mounted and the bow when they arrive.  Bow will be here Wed of next week.  I am tellin ya I have looked for several years for this bow and even owned a Bisharat at 66" but the grip just wasn't right for me.  Like I said too I always wanted an Eatmon 66 but couldn't never afford one due to one thing or another and then when I could afford I could never find one.  keepem sharp
