Finally got out of the stand today.....

After a few weeks of not seeing anything I finally climbed out of the stand and headed into the intimidating 100+ acre cornfield.  Wow!!!  I found a ton of sign and some good solid buck tracks.  So tomorrow morning I'm skipping the stand and heading into the corn early, hopefully I can find my way in the dark to a nice ambush spot I found.

Well I didn't make it into the corn today.  My daughter was sick this morning so I stayed home with her and went out tonight but it was to dry and no wind.  I'm hoping for a little drizzle later in the week or for a combine to come and make a dent in it.
