strange bow I saw this morning
«

This morning, while getting the kids ready for school, I caught some of Hank Parker 3-D. One of Hank's sons was shooting a recurve with 4 limbs! There were two small limbs in front that seemed to be tethered to the main limbs. The bow was not an oneida bow and there were no mechanical parts (wheels, cams, etc.). Does anyone know who makes this thing? I was just curious as I have never seen anything like it.

sounds like a pa-not-scott ( don't know how to spell it, So I got hooked on fonex) It is a out Indain bow. It's a long bow so it may be a hybrid made in to a recurved main limb bow.

Yep it was probably a penobscot bow. If you google it you will find that natives built them a long time ago.

I have shot one of those...shot very well...it looks like the precursor to a compound but is a longbow...you can adjust the poundage by playing with the string on the little bow...Pete ward did a review of one...check out his website!!
