A COUPLE OF NEW PRODUCTS
« on: October 15, 2009, 12:55:00 PM »
:)  Thought that you might like to see a couple of things that I've been working with the last few days.

Those who know us know that in addition to our established products we are always looking for something else. The Rocktab is a new tab inspired by Lenny Rock, and will be part of our regular line of products. The bowquiver is an EFA Navjo I with a rawhide front and a hand drawn image. It is different from our other products so I wanted to get some feedback before proceeding with making more of them.

Thanks  :knothead:

That's interesting, all three of you who responded has the name "Joe".

The tabs may be awhile getting onto the website but we have a number of them made up. The price is $12.00 each with free shipping for Tradgangers this month.

I like the looks of the tab.  I have a lot of trouble finding non split finger tabs in my area.

horatio1226, yes this tab is available with cordovan or "slink" at that price.

I had been using cordovan up until about a month ago. This material is like sliding on ice. I shoot better with it now.

Does the tab come in split finger? And can you make the quiver in different colors? Thanks.

Mike

Mike, The leather in the body of the hood can easily be changed. The rawhide color has been left unchanged except for the brown feathers on it. It could just as easily be a black leather with a black feather.

Dying the rawhide would defeat the purpose. It wouldn't look like rawhide anymore. However we might look at using a rawhhide with a more amber color to it. This would be better for hunting.

We have a split finger tab on our website, but it doesn't have the palm pad or O ring features. We can make that tab with cordovan or "slink" material at that price.

We are considering making the split finger tab with the palm pad and O ring features but I'm still working out the dimensions.
