Guys if you have followed some of my threads, you know I coach 4H locally, had some succes with them,especially recurve shooters, won the state championship. I have also gotten several adults locally and our local Mennonite community trying trad and loving it, 2 have already taken deer this season. We get together almost weekly at my house and shoot, tune, work on equipment etc, make strings, work on form.My goal is simple, to further spread the traditon we all love so much, maybe start a club locally if it comes together, if not just be an ambassador for the sport locally. A year ago there were only 2 or 3 people that shot trad in my whole county. Now there are about 20, including several kids, and they are all hungry for information, know how etc. I keep all my books and videos, DVDs, spare bows,old issues of traditonal bowhunting, loaned out, seems like I cant cycle it fast enough to help everyone out. Most of the Mennonite community wont watch tv, computers etc, so it has to be written material. What I need, is if any of you have any material video, old hunting magazines, books on shooting, tuning or hunting with trad equipement that you are not using, I would ask if you could, donate it to this effort. I would gladly help out with the shipping. Times are tough all over, I am just trying to help others out, further our sport. The area we live in, in good times does not have high paying jobs and it is a struggle for most to make ends meet, much less in this economy. All replies appreciated. Thanks, Sam Koger.
