Was talking with my brother Scott a couple days ago and he mentioned still being in possesion of an old 2 drawer file cabinet from 20+ year ago.
He knows that I have been heavily into Trad. since we were kids in the 50-60's and figured I could come up with a suitable place for Traditional people to enjoy it.
This came to him as part of the "old stuff" the club had in storage. He was serving as president of an archery an club at the time. Which has since, folded and closed it's doors. He said that this "stuff" had just been floating from Pres. to pres. for years prior to his taking office. [ This "Stuff" was primarily, traditional in content from earlier years, here in Wash. St.] The Club was a totally Compound club. I'm not sure how they ever got it??
The new incomming pres. who replaced my brother when told of it, was not interested at all.. and did not want it. Therefore, my brother has kept it all of these years.
In talking with Scott, he mentioned not knowing what all is there but that he remembers several origional photos of Fred Bear shooting in various places in Eastern WA.
I can't wait to get to look back at all of this history!! Not sure what to do with it all. I'm possibly going to turn it over to TBW at the up-comming banquet.. [If I can get over there to pick it up before the banquet]
Being a "Old Harley Rider" who's always been on the look out for the proverbial 'Old Harley in the Barn'.... I think this may be even Better
