I just recieved mine in the mail, I haven't watched it yet....
I just think it speaks volumes about the sad state of our Bowhunting Heritage that an 8 hour collection of classic bowhunting history (on my Christmas list) that previously was available for $165 is now avaiable for $30 with additional footage.
You can buy a 1 hour video of a guy hunting out of a tree stand, on private property, over a foodplot, with a compound for the same price......What does this say about our future???

Our future is what we make it I suppose, and not directly related to what some today think...the easy crowd will always be just that, until they tire of their toys.  At least Bear is still keeping it alive....as far as Fred's legacy is concerned.  And, traditional archery is still growing....I think that's a good sign Stiknstring....I'm hopin' anyway.  I have to order those....my favorite is "The Oldest Game."

It says that some people are only interested in making profit with any $hite they can sell while others are more interested in keeping a tradition alive.

Pretty obvious which will win in the long run...

The Dvd's are a must.  I just spent 2 hours watching and have 4 more hours to go.  At end of DVD 1 is an interview with Fred done in 83 on the history of the bow and how he describes his shooting style.
