Dyeing G/N quiver hood

Just wondering if anybody has tried to dye a brown G/N quiver hood black.And if so how

Hi Spotteddog,
I've dyed a few brown shoes in my time.  If this is anything like shoes, first you need to rub the leather down with "leather preparation", to remove all traces of oil.  Allow drying time. This solution is something like rubbing alcohol.  Then apply the black dye, may need multiple applications. Let dry.  Finally, apply a leather conditioner to restore moisture to the leather because the "preparation" solution dries out the leather.  Good luck
