I am now shooting the 16" RC riser. Have had both 14" wood and aluminum. I really like it. It's only draw back is now my bows are 66" instead of 64". Not too big of a deal except in a Double Bull.

I started with the 14" riser (62" bow) and switched to the 16" RC riser. No regrets at all - I much prefer the 16". It dropped maybe one pound at most in weight going to the longer riser though draws noticably smoother to where it feels like it dropped more in weight than it really did. It also seems to be quieter, though don't know why that would be...

I have owned them all and have sold every 14" ST I've had (3). I like the 16" and still have one but I bought a JK riser and that's the best of them all. 14" and feel of a 16". Trust me one this, once you try a JK, you'll love it. I do feel the the 16" is better if you're pulling 60# or more though.

I recently bought the 16" RC riser. The grip is more recurve-like, which I like. I also like the larger sight window. Only downside, for hunting from stands, is that the bow is now 2" longer.

Try the RC riser, if you dont like it, I'll trade you my one of a kind birds eye maple 14" st riser for it. I have an RC as well, and like it the best.
