I have been doing well at thinning out my bow collection lately. So yesterday, I see a deal on another site for a bow. I wasn't really thinking I would get it for the amount but I did. Now, after I pay for that, I am short on funds for what happened today. There is an A&H ACS bow here I have been heavily thinking about, not enough funds. Then, I see the A&H announcement of their $100 off sale. I had a bow picked out from them but was about $150 short on funds before buying the other bow. With $100 off I could swing it, but not after buying the other bow. And the kicker is, today at lunch I am looking through the bows here and a guy I work with walks up. We talk about bows and he mentions his dad has one he hasn't used in a while. I ask what it is. He says he's not sure. He calls Dad and finds out it's just an Adcock ACS CX 43# @ 28" 64" longbow. I ask if he wants to sell it. He calls dad and finds out he will, but you guessed it. He would like about $75 more than I have availale. I think today, just isn't my day....
but, I am still working a deal with friend's Dad, wish me luck.
