breaking arrows
« on: November 01, 2009, 10:21:00 PM »
I mostly use alum. arrows, but carry a couple of cedars in my quiver for shooting out of my treestand before I get down and also when walking out of the woods. This weekend I broke 3 arrows doing that. I'm thinking of getting a couple of carbons and footing them with alittle alum. as I read on this site. What are you guys suggestions on this? thanks.

Shoot hickory and you'll have to run over them with your truck to break them. Carbons sound cool but where is the character and tradition? Just my 2 cents.
