need help with carbon arrows!

I know that there are quite a few carbon arrow gurus out there, and I need your help. I am shooting a rose oak king panther, 68#@31", and am having a heck of a time finding arrows stiff enough for it. I need a 32 inch arrow, and the carbon express 6075s I have are bareshafting too weak with everything but a 125 grain tip, which is too light for me. Would prefer a 200+ grain head. Any suggestions for a stiffer arrow. Need a finished arrow in the 650+ range. Any help would be great.

Maybe you should try the wood-type carbon. Yeah it is heavier and less durable, but it will do what you want. LOL, just kidding. Thought I would play with you a bit.

Try the Goldtip Big Game shafts or the carbonwood 5000s, the 5000s would get ya close with 200 grain heads. shawn

Arrow dynamics make a very stiff and good arrow also they are tapered. i shoot a 60lb bow with 190 grain intercepters at 26"1/4 with 5 grain per inch tubes. The big games are very stiff should be good at your draw lenght.

Guru-
Very generous offer, I found a few of my old GT 7595s that I am playing with, didnt have a chance to try them today, but will let you know if they work. If not, I may take you up on your offer! Does anyone know the spine of a 7595, and other arrows with similiar spines?

Build out the side plate on your bow with a piece of leather.

Has anyone tried filling the carbon shaft with silicone? i'll bet that would add some serious weight.....flexible, but it would add spine to the arrow too i'll bet.....Just an idea,,,, :D

You may want to take a look at the Carbon Express Edge in the 350 size. I spined some of these when we got them in and they were very stiff. Stiffer the the CX400's if I remember correctly. The other thing that's nice about these arrows is they are a narrow diameter, thick walled shaft. Very durable, good weight, and awesome on game. They're kind of like the Axis shafts but utilize a different type of insert (half out) that is really nice.
Chris
Oh, yeah. I think they now make these shafts in a camo hunter version which is a little bit heavier and stiffer than the regular black shafts. Around my parts you can find these at Gander Mtn., Sportsmans Warehouse, and archery shops.

Might try some Carbon Tech safaris or Grizzly stick safaris.
