Thats a beauty, I am from NW Pa. and we are seeing some huge racks but tough hunting. I have missed a ten point and my son missed one close to the one pictured. I am seeing a lot of smaller bucks, have probally seen close to a dozen bucks in the last week and only two legal shooters.

Wow. Nice buck. From everything I hear, I didn't think there were any deer much less trophy bucks left in PA. Is this in an antler restriction area?

That deer only scored 138" for real? It sure looks a lot bigger in the pics. Nice buck.

This buck was killed in Crawford County - northwestern PA.  We always had good bucks in this part of the state but the antler restrictions put into place several years ago has really improved the age structure of the herd.  Crawford and the surrounding counties require 4 points on a side for a legal buck.  Mark is a former P&Y measurer so the 138 is a pretty good number.

Marks had a problem getting on the site so be patient for the story.
