That Bruin would live up to its name with your long draw, at least 70 lbs. For your first bow you will be MUCH happier and better off to keep your draw weight below 50 lbs at your draw. Figure that you will gain 2.5-3 lbs/in over the bow's marked draw length, so be looking for something around 40 lb @ 28". There are plenty of those around, esp in the recurves. Bow designs vary, but figure around 66" in a longbow and 62" in a recurve to start. Longer is generally easier to deal with than shorter.
