Way to go man, when I look at those old Compound that I stored and never more used' in the last 15 years they look obsolete,my recurves of the 60's are still work of art, a string on and ready to go in 5 seconds

good job man!
i was having a tough season a few years back and in a moment of weakness took the c-pound out on a hunt. it was a sad hunt and only a reminder of why i chose trad to begin with. sold my c-pound soon after and never regretted it.
having a c-pound lying around will diminish people's potential and/or enjoyment of trad archery in my opinion.
enjoy!!!

I still have one of my compounds. If I want to take my trad bow, i just take it. I dont think having the compound diminishes anything for me. It's a constant reminder why I chose the Bob Lee. Those wheels, strings, sights, stabilizers, etc are a reminder to continue to keep things simple.

I haven't shot my compound in about 4 years.
The year before I had a really nice 8 pointer working a scrape at about 12 yards. I'd been shooting my longbow all summer and was using the compound. I canted the bow, took the instinctive shot and watched it go right under his belly.
I realized then that I need to stick with one or the other because the brain got confused when under the gun and I reverted to the instinctive shot when I shoulda used the old sight pins.
I still have it and tried to sell it. It was a step above beginner compound when I bought it 18 years ago. Now no one wants to buy it because it's so outdated compared to the tech stuff now.

Sometimes I wish I had a whole lot of old wheelie bows, which I could - of course - sell, to afford some badass trad bows!
