You're miles ahead of me. I usually just do a stain, a two-tone one if I am feeling fancy! These are gonna be gorgeous when they are all fletched up!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

LOL purple seems to be a popular color with the ladies.

 I'm almost finished a set 2 purple bard and one purple (solid) with a pink strip in it. Painted the shafts all white with purple and pink strips. 4" feathers

  I'm also doing a set of 2 purple and one black. Each feather has a 1/8 yellow strip finished off with 7/8 of white to make up a 5" feathers.
make em pretty and shoot em straight.

Look better than my first set. I have to warn you that cresting is addictive.

Very good job.  Cresting is as hard as it is fun and addictive.  They too look better than the first set I crested.  Nothing like shooting an arrow you made.  Something about it just seems exactly right.
