36" string.. Can I get one????
« on: November 17, 2009, 07:47:00 AM »
I need to know if I can get a 36" string??? I was shooting and the neighbor boy(6 years old) came over with his bow. He wants a wood bow. I had a hickory board bow that blew up on me , so I started making him a longbow with the remains. Its 39" ntn . I just need to find out if I can get a string that short before I go any further....Thanks, Roy

For a light kids' bow you can use a piece of cotton sash cord from any hardware store. This is what is used on rattan kids bows at MOJam. The sash cord will fit in an arrow nock and is soft enough for a kid to shoot with no glove or tab.
