Hi Michael,
Wow, congrats on the beautiful bow!  Hope to see you enjoying it sometime over at the ARTAC range.
Usually one of the moderators will move a post to a different forum if they agree with the idea. Here's the folks who moderate the PowWow...

I'm only as good as my first shot.

Great post! This helps everyone who says, "custom bows are too pricey" understand that they really aren't! This thread shows the many, many hours of hard work and skilled labor that go into a nice bow and that a good bowyer earns what little pay he gets for his passion. My hat's off to you, Tim.

Well done, sir!     :clapper:
That about sums it up nicely, well said.

Thank you all so very much for all your kind words. I really do appreciate them all. Makes my day and has lots to do with why us crazy Bowyers do this stuff. It`s one thing to build a bow every now and then, but something a quite a bit different to do this custom stuff on demand on a commercial basis. Building a specific bow design that is built with selected materials, to be used in a specific place, built to a specific poundage at a given draw length and blended together to be visually pleasing and tuned so that both limbs pull together in unison is a  challenge that I really enjoy. One limb being ever so slightly weaker than the other to produce perfect arrow flight can be tricky. These bows also have the longevity to be passed on to our Great Grandchildren !!
I`m truly thankful for all the Blessings that GOD has given me and carried me through all these years and lead  me forward in perfecting my craft.

Well said Tim and we really do appreciate your God given talents!  Thanks for sharing them with us.

Ohhh yeah....it should come as no surprise to you but the bow shoots great!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My groups are tighter than ever and am really liking the grip.

I took her (the bow) on her maiden voyage this past weekend.  3 hunts and didn't see a deer.  Sure glad i had such a pretty bow to stare at or i might have got bored.

Hopefully this weekend my luck will change and I'll get to exerise those beautiful limbs.  I'll send pics if i get lucky.

Also, let me know if you want any pics of the bow for your web page.  I took a few with the bow sitting on my bear rug and the riser really jumps out sitting on a black background.

Take care.

Michael
