New to me PSA III questions...
« on: November 19, 2009, 02:05:00 PM »
Just unpacked a PSA III that I purchased from a fellow trad ganger. I shoot three under, he shot it split. Any advise on setup (noc point, silencers, rest, brace height, etc.) from anyone shooting the same?

Thanks!

Noc point will be something that you must find but 5/8"-3/4" would be really close.

The rest that BW supplies on there bows are very good ones.

Brace 8.5"- 8.75"

I use a 10 strand endless loop  Ultracam string on my Widows.  They are the fastest strings I have ever shot, and very quite.  I use just one set of Spider silencers instead of the 4 normally supplied.

L82HUNT...

Do you shoot off the shelf?

I shot my Zipper off the shelf for about 8 years and then tried an elevated rest. I shot much better off the elevated rest... however, the additional upward movement of my noc point increased the noise level.

I'm experimenting now but welcome any and all advice.

Thanks again!
