Hi, Longhunter95!  It is woodburning.  I carve out a couple different levels.  In this case, the deer is in front, then the people, then the trees at the top,  The ground actually tapers back from the front of the pic to the trees.  After carving I sand all the areas I plan on woodburning.  Then I burn the pic using a woodburning pen.  Kinda like drawing but I am burning instead of using ink or pencil.

Big bucks look good on the wall, but I still haven't found a way to tenderize those bones!

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
