Al
I have the "BareBow" book. It is absolutely unbelievable in layout and content. There is a description of habitat, traits and habits for each of the 29 game species hunted by Dennis. The art work accompanying each chapter is world-class and fits very well with the stories of each hunt. At the back of the book there are over 60 full color photos taken from Dennis’ adventures that showcase the land, the wildlife and the people he encountered on the way.

This thing is an encyclopedia in a single book! It is written very well and every chapter has the non-hunting reader as well as us seasoned hunters in mind. The focus is purely on the hunt, the animals, non-game wildlife, the adventure and the spirit of man. There are NO hero photos of Dennis with any of his game. This is a book for all bowhunters.

I have talk to some folks who are concerned about the price, but I will tell you, Barebow is 6 or 7 books in one! It is the BEST valued hunting book out there in my opinion. This deluxe coffee table book will be the focus of any visitor to your home and will go a long way in presenting our case as hunters to those who don’t know what truly is in our hearts. The effort that whent into writing and publishing this book is proportionate to the effort Dennis applied to his hunting lifestyle. You won’t be able to read it in a day, but that is the beauty of this resource. It’s a masterpiece on all fronts! Very highly recommended! Mike

Al -  I had to laugh!!! After I post my thoughts on BareBow, I clicked on the link and read some of the reviews. My words were echoed in many of the testimonials, which indicate Dennis is bringing us together!
I talked to him for quite awhile at Compton’s Rendezvous. He took many of the animals with a traditional bow, although not all. Many of us can relate because of our transition back to recurves and longbows.
 Well done.

Al I sent you a link where you could at least check out if you'd be interested in purchasing a used copy of the book. Good luck in your search.
If I had the extra dough I'd most likely add this one to my library.
God bless,Mudd

PS: If after looking at the link you decide it's not for you please post the link here as someone else might want a used copy and the sale dollars go to a good cause.

Thanks lads for all the heads up on the book. I am not worrid about the price as I like to read a good yarn from time to time. More so on hunting, be it compound, rifle or longbow.

Thanks for the link also Mudd.
