My 14 yr old daughter has wanted to hunt bear since she was 8.
I have find a guide that I can hunt with a stick bow and she can hunt with a rifle.

Sent you an email. I am recommending Eldon Jandreau of Portage, Maine. He is a longbow hunter himself and prefers bow hunters. He has special packages for kids but you need to ask him about that. You should hear some good things about Eldon from this site.

Yes, what Bill C. said.  You will not find a better guy to take your daughter hunting than Eldon.  He'll do everything in his power to see that she has a great hunt because he does that with all of his hunters.  Been four times and plan to return next year.....Dave

DIY Alaskan Black bear hunt out Kachemak bay or prince william sound area. Close enough to get out quick if you need but definitely the "dark side of the moon" for most folks in the lower 48.
Just this Alaskan's opinion

Bill,

I just got off the phone with Eldon.  Lord willing, I will be there the first week, flying in on 8/29.

If by a slim chance I get drawn for a moose tag, that would preclude me coming. Since the chances are slim to nil for this, it looks like we will be chasing bears together!

Woo Eee!!!
