Portable blind how to.
« on: December 06, 2009, 06:08:00 PM »
I have a 5' by 12' piece of 3D camo that I want to make into some kind of protable blind material with quick set up.  I was wondering if any of you guys have done something like that.  I was wanting a set up that could fit in my pack and sets up quick.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  :help:

tie parachute cord on the corners; ( put a small rock into the corner and pinch the material around it- then tie it up.) and then when you get to a spot; tie it up to brush; or find someone with an old tent that has worn out; and use the tent poles for support. Take a fold up chair with no arms; as they can get in the way; and use the camo to cover leg movement ( most likely thing to move) and heap it up - like over a bush that will help conceal you
You want to sit still; but be able to move and shoot over the camo while sitting. If you can stand up fine; but your likely to have no time to stand without being detected; so be prepared.
Have low spots where you expect to shoot.

Let us know how it works out  :)
