Thinking about trying one.  Just curious what have been your experiences with them....

I experimented w/feather rests about 2 years ago. Now, all my bows have them. I'm convinced mine are much quieter & faster than any rest I've ever used. Maybe I'll go into business?

I have them on several bows. They wear well, quiet, and not much different from shooting off an elevated rest.

I say try one. They are forgiving of fletch contact I feel. The arrow does sit a bit higher from the top of the bow hand than without one.Particularly good for a bow with a non radiused flat shelf.

Check out a TG sponsor TRAP. He has these for sale and they are very much like the vintage rests that were on Bear bows.

I just bought one for a Bear Grizzly I just purchased from another Tradgang member that should be here in a few days.

Looking forward to trying it out, think Steelhead is right, would compliment a riser that isn't radiused.

I thought they were just a replica(for show bows)  and not used for hunting. See how much you can learn.

I did a search in the directory, this is the email listed in his profile.

[email protected]

He sent me a couple of his rest, when we did some broadhead trading. Great looking rest, haven't put them on a bow, yet.
