2 Questions, mods feel free to jump in?
« on: December 09, 2009, 08:04:00 PM »
1.Where did the collectors forum go to?

2. Do you allow members to sell flint arrowheads, knives etc in the classifieds?
 Just wondering. Sam.

1)  I believe the collectors forum was taken away due to some kind of repeated problems.  Never went there but saw someone else asked a while back.

2)  You should be able to sell about anything you want in the classifieds if it fits a category.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Sam,
Dave hit the nail on the head on both issues.
I sure do miss the history/collecting forum though.

Sam I don't know about the collectors forum, but the way it reads on the "Become a Sponsor Link" at the top of each forum if you are selling newly made items you would need to become either a regular sponsor or an Associate sponsor. The way I understand it the classifieds are for used merchandise.  Below is a description of the types of Tradgang sponsors:

If you are running a business that is related to Trad Bowhunting and have a web page that promotes and supports your business then the Full Sponsorship would be required. Full Sponsors are also eligible to purchase ad banners.

...Associate Sponsorship information: If you make or craft items yourself that are related to Trad Bowhunting or have items from time to time (staves, bow socks, etc) then you would likely be qualified as an Associate Sponsor.

...Corporate Sponsorship information: If your business is not related to Trad Bowhunting but would like to sponsor the site and have your business name recognized on a list of Corporate Sponsors, then we also offer this type of sponsorship as well.

...Contributing Member information: If you as a member would like to support the site individually all it takes is a small contribution to do so.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Sam, The History/collector forum as Dave said was closed due to some repeated problems.  We're gonna talk about some things soon, so hang tight on that....

Walt was right on the $ on the selling of goods that you make...if you make to sell, then you have to become a sponsor to use the classies.

If you just have a bunch of stuff you've acquired from other folks and want to get rid of something then just list in the appropriate forum.

From now on bud, just send a message like this directly to admin please.
