I am new to tradgang and was directed here to buy/sell trad equip from good honest people and I tell a lot of people I meet to come here and do the same...guess I was missing the point...don't post much because of work rules.

I have had great success buying and selling on the classifieds and would hope very much that you keep it as a part of Tradgang.

I appreciate the mods. efforts and work.

Thanks,

Paul

I eat breakfast every morning at my computer desk and read all of Tradgang's Pow-Wow,all of the classified, then go thru the venders to see what is new. Thanks to Rob, Terry, and all the moderators. You have made my Senior years complete! Thanks, Ken Denton

I've learned most of what I know about trad bows right here. I have bought, sold, or traded every trad bow I've owned on the classifieds here. This forum is special because of the mutual respect and sharing which takes place. Keep up the good work Mods and Merry Christmas to all!!

Considerin the amount of people ther are on this site I dont know how ya'll keep up, and I guess the scam guy's realize this and they use it to ther advantage.

One of the reasons I joined was the oppertunity to look thru the classifieds, just in case I get a chance to buy a really nice bow.

Nothing saying you still can't do that, brother, assuming I understood Rob's post correctly.  I think the only thing they're really trying to avoid is the people that register and immediately start posting classifieds ads without any participation on the rest of the site.  --Which is exactly how many of the scammers have acted in the past.  Let's face it, someone lazy enough to steal is many times to lazy to build a good reputation for themselves...

correct, curtis - anyone can still post a REPLY to a bow ad, and buy or trade for a bow.  permission is required to CREATE a new trad bow ad for sale or trade.

I am a new guy and have not been able to give much to the site, but I have been quietly reading everything I can and watching and listening.  I have belonged to a number of forums, and NEVER, anywhere have I found a better run forum.  Also, I have never found as good a bunch of guys as I have found here.  Even though I haven't been very active in the discussions, I have learned more about traditional archery here than I have learned anything on any forum, and I know when I need help, No one would hesitate to give that help happily.  I'll always be a member of this forum.  Even when I cant do anything but sit in front of my computer and look at the screen.  Thanks to everyone that has made this forum what it is.
