new jersey hunting

Hello to Jersey bowhunters. I haven't hunted jersey for a few years and I hope to get down there in Jan for late bow. Can you tell me if the water gap area is still accessable. The last time I was down there the roads were block off in some of the area. It's so nice to hunt land that doesn't have slash and down falls everywhere. What is the bear situation like in Jan. Always saw pleanty in the fall. Any light you can shed on the subject would be helpful. Thanks Greg

Thanks for the response. To me jersey hunting is a hidden jewel. After you hunt Maine and see less deer than you have inlaws.I'm going to go down around the thrid week of Jan, but I,ve got to play the weather so I don't leave the wife with snow shoveling duties. Every one have a great holiday and stay safe.
