Dick: You are absolutely right. A properly spined light arrow is going to work better than a heavy FOC that is not right for your setup. However, get the spine and FOC right and it makes a big difference....at least it has for me. Shooting a 600 grain arrow with 225 grains up front dead center at 35 yards without fletching does a lot for confidence in your equipment.....and shooting.

Shoot what works well for you, and what you are happy with...pretty simple; just don't ever think it's the only way that works well. Great arrow flight is attainable in many ways, as is excellent penetration on any game animal.  It's quite okay to tout what you believe, but some folks want to exclaim that it's the only way and become quite a pain in the keister about it.

Shoot well....shoot what you like.
