question about applying snakeskins

I am ready to glue skins on a recent selfbow and was wondering if I need to do any prep to the skins before I glue them up.thanks for your time,glen

Glen, are your skins dried?  if so just soak them in warm water while you prep your bow.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!
