Just curious if anyone has ever used this as an arrow finish?
Satin or high gloss?
Thanks,
James

I know some poly that you get is cut with water and other stuff for touching up furniture and floors.I have used straight floor poly on my kids arrows and they look great.

I use it and have no problems. It takes a few coats three or four is what I do. It goes on nice and even. No runs or drips.

High gloss is the more durable of the two. My go-to finish...

Yup, great stuff. If you use the stuff that is non water based ya can add a bit of paint thinner and dip your arrows as well! Shawn

I use it also. Very good finish. Steel wool with 0000 between coats.

The wipe on is a good finish and you can use the regular polyurethane as well. Keep the coats thin and you will have a very durable finish. The gloss is harder and tougher. The Minwax Fast Dry oil base is probably my favorite OTC poly.

As far as the 0000 Steel wool. Where can you get this? I have not found it yet.
