carbon arrow help

I'd appreciate some opinions on what carbon shafting seems to be most popular nowadays. I'm interested in buying some 400 and 500 shafting. Price and durability are also factors to consider. I hear a-lot about goldtips. I'd like to stay away from the small diameter axis type arrow for now. Any suggestions for a good and reliable vendor? Thanks for your help.
