Thanks all some great ideas here.  I've only got 4 more days to try different things.  Lots of snow last night.  Happy New Year.

i use a LW climber and I carry a regular day pack with goodies when I go. I just take 3 bungee straps and strap the pack to the stand itself. That LW is so light and easy to carry you do not even notice the pack weight.

I have a Oldman tree stand the just hang my backpack stuffed with all my warm gear and stuff in it.Basically i walk in with a T-shirt and light outer shirt. Down fall is that it all weighs 30-40lb's. Probably going top hang some secluded hang on stands next year and try that. Done the other for ten years. Good Luck.

I do like many on here, and just strap everything I carry onto the stand...and I usually hike a ways, so I'll have quite a bit of gear + extra clothes...all bungeed onto my stand.  I hate to need something and not have it...so I carry more than most.

Lone Wolf climber over a military rucksack.  I also have a shoulder bag on my opposite side.  My buddy and I are wearing orange because we are hunting in a WMA during gun season.

Just hang your pack over the stand wrap a bungee around the pack and your'e all set. If you are like me your pack can weigh as much as the LW so be sure you really need everything in the pack.

Fanny pack pulled around to the front or a backpack with straps that are easy to undo at the bottom, pull over stand through platform and re-attach.
Just one more step please!

I quit using a backpack for deer hunting years ago.  I exclusively use a deluxe turkey vest.  I modified a few of the pockets.  Everything has its place - year after year.  The large pocket in the back can be loaded up- even boned out deer!  I have everything I need for almost every situation. As I climb a tree everything I need is in convenient reach; saw, pruners, extra steps, bow holders, twine, etc. I hang up the vest once tied in the stand. It distributes the weight over my back and shoulders too.

I can not imagine hunting without it. All I need to do is grab my bow, stand, and vest- I am gone.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.
