Cabelas sells some "Berber Fleece" in outfitter camo, anyone check if they use UV brightners? as this stuff is imported.

I wear it for late season hunting in MN.  Never had a problem being spotted at close range...and I don't use any special detergent other than Scentkiller to wash in.  Good, warm stuff but stay away from the burrs!

you might wash it in "Sportwash" as it will not add any UV brighteners.

Don't know about the UV...but I wear it almost constantly through the year of hunting, and I've never had any issues that would lead me to believe that it's a problem.

I actually love the stuff, super comfortable, quiet, and I think that pattern works year round in most terrains.

Just my 2 cents of course.

I’ve looked at this jacket in the Outfitters Camo Pattern  http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat470076-cat601737&id=0033526932534a&navCount=1 &podId=0033526932534&parentId=cat601737&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true  under a black light and there was nothing glaring about it under that kind of light. Although, I do wonder if this fleece type of material has some kind of “unnatural” light reflective affect compared to the natural surroundings.
