Now I've seen it all....

Never thought I'd hear of a "bladeless broadhead" but I did today!
Look up "the atom bladeless broadhead".
Moderators, I'm not sure if this applies to this site so if you decide to pull it, no problem. I'm posting this mostly out of an "awareness" perspective of things that are being marketed for archery today. Since there is no real rule of what broadhead you can use for trad hunting, I thought maybe some comments on this sort of nonsense might keep some new guys from making a mistake.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Dave, I just looked these up on Google. I think a version of them has been on the market for some time, but sure isn't something I would ever consider shooting. Mark

The lengths they go to make a broadhead
shoot like a field point, and yet compounds
are set up for easy tuning along the X,Y, and Z axis. I wonder how the skip angle/penetration is, with the rebounding blades.

Must be fun to try to sharpen. LOL.
Its from a reputable manufacturer though, and is a pretty clever idea.
Doubt it will catch on with trad shooters, but the wheel guys might like it.

You have to give them credit for keeping people interested in buying the gimmicks.Think of how many wheelie boys will buy them, because they are the newest thing.

I'm gonna be excited to see who starts snatching these up. I'd love to have that mailing list since I have a whole back yard full of fence post holes I'd like to move. I'd sell'em by the truck load to that bunch of folks...lol

Mudd, not sure of the fool and his money quote but I'm pretty sure he was the one who said there's "A sucker born every minute."

I've read some things about them a while back. I'm pretty sure they require a lot of speed...like in excess of 300fps...to be effective.
Not happening out of one of my bows!! lol

Even if I still shot a wheel bow, I don't believe I would ever try them. I'm sure they will sell like beer in a bar for a little while. I'll stick with my fixed blades.

not trad bow related ... and far more hype than happening.
trad bowhunting broadheads are cut-on-contact types with twin, triple and quad razor sharp blades, and are of a sufficient head size width-to-length ratio that's both practical and efficient for small to large game.
any and all mechanical heads don't belong in the same sentence as 'traditional bowhunting'.
