Belated Xmas Gifts.....
« on: January 01, 2010, 12:02:00 PM »
My wife always finds a way to come up with gifts for me for hunting and she won't say the source of her info.

Here are a couple of pics of "Xmas Gifts" that arrived after Santa left....One I will put to use this afternoon and probably both in Jersey winter hunting.

Insulated ASAT Bomber Jacket.....

Snow Camo similiar to Winnoa Acrylic....

Love that ASAT
And in the end when i can no longer draw the bow or watch the arrow embark on its flight;when i posses only the spirit of the hunter, i will hunt.... if only in my dreams... because the hunt is born amidst my soul, and i... i am the hunter

Wow, love the sweater!

ASAT is pretty much my favorite camo pattern.  Tell her she done good!

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Man! for the love of a good wife, she done good by you Joe! I can't find any fault with either of your gifts.
My wife had given me a check along with a note to get myself to Bass Pro and pick out the hat I'd been wanting.
I did that.. well almost..lol they were out of my size in the color I wanted so I picked up some fleece pants.

I did have to confess to her that the store was calling around to try to find the hat and I got the call yesterday late that they found one someplace down in Texas. It should be here in a couple of weeks, max!

Congratulations on the great wife Joe. Keep her and who knows what'll show up in your stockings..lol
God bless,Mudd

I PM'd the fellows who needed info. I'll be wearing this stuff in Jersey this month for whitetails...Very roomy, can layer quite a bit of clothing under the sweater. I wouldn't trek through a dense briar patch with it but for a ground hunter like myself who sneaks around the hardwoods, its perfect....
