hello brand new to this website and longbow hunting. Been out in the cold trying to get my first kill. I was looking at the grizzly stick arrows and just wondering if anyone has them and if they are worth the money. I guess you buy them by the weight of arrow you want and not spine, at least i didnt see anything about spine on there. well thanks all see how this works

Whats your draw weight and style of bow? I have some Alaskans that I LOVE.
If your just new at traditional archery, why not get you some proper aluminums and shoot them? Easy to build and to tune, and very effective. Griz stiks are pretty awesome---so if you have your heart set on them, go for it---they rock.

hey thanks, i am shooting carbon express herritage 250 now. they seem good but only have three. i have a thunder stick three 55 @ 28 right now my arrow weight is around 630 grains. i dont mind spending the money if its worth it. my only concern i guess is that the spine will be right

I've been shooting griz sticks for awhile now. I've taken four deer with the same arrow over the past two years. Ya they cost more but I've had good luck with them. I bow is 53 @ 27 and I cut my sticka arrows to 28" and use a 185 gr broadhead.

Give the guys at Alaska Bowhunting Supply a call. They are great folks and will answer all of you questions.
Starting out, I think I would go with alloys first...just to see if its what you think it is.

Nothing wrong with the Grizzly Stiks. The arrows do have spine range. The Alaskan's spine is 50 - 70 lbs.

konrad you say start out with alloys first, does that mean the griz sticks are not carbon arrows.

Thr Griz Stiks are woven carbon arrows. He's talking about aluminum. You can get aluminums for less money than the Griz, they shoot great, and you won't be all butt-hurt when you lose them.
How new at this are you? If you still need lots of practice hitting the target, then less expensive shafts are for you.
