I love spalted maple ..especially in guitar building. Epoxy resin to seal the wood is the trick to a good finish.

Droptine that thing's a beaut for sure. That would make some sharp drum shells too!!

Sweet bass! Dean uses alot of spalted maple on their guitars--real nice looking

I do some minimal part time guitar work for a local guitar when he gets busy. The wood he gets is phenominal. I have some Spalted Maple thay I will use for my next recurve. The stuff just looks insane with real orangy Coco-Bolo
