David Dow {bows} of Kansas ?

Anyone heard of him, do I have name spelled correctly ? Anyone shoot his Bows ? Thanks Much ...

I dont know him or much about him but have had a few of his bows come through the used section of our store.
They seemed to be nice bows , shot well , nothing exotic wood wise but good shooting bows.

Its David Dowell,I have one of his Osage Elb's, I think he now only builds glass backed D/R bows, the man knows his stuff on the selfbows, I've never shot his glass bows but his craftmanship and attention to detail is one of the best.

Adam, Think you probably mean David Dowell from Arlington Kansas.  Nice shooting bows - bought one 3 years ago, and had him build me another one last year.  If I get a chance will try to post a picture later tonight.

Yep, that's David Dowell.  I had one a few years ago.  Last I heard he went to building bows full time.  It must be true I haven't seen him at a 3D shoot lately.
